Clinical psychology has its roots in psychometrics...the scientific measurement of mental functions. It wouldn't be such a serious matter...except a diagnosis of psychiatric disorder can have unexpected negative consequences in people's lives. When they don't know who uses diagnostic data or how...people even can lose their liberty based on unvalidated di nation products and maximize the revenues. But the companies involved in this practice are overlooking that they are burdening the patients both economically orders.
